Host your event at Neighborhood North! Community members may rent our space to host private birthday parties, play days, and unique events on weekends (Friday and Saturday evenings). Neighborhood North also welcomes school group visits and hosts special events for holidays.

Birthday Party & Private Event Rentals

Private event rentals are perfect for family events, celebrations, and unique work retreats! Check our online rental calendar to book a time at Neighborhood North for your weekend event!

Rental Info:

Book for a 3.5 hour session: this includes one hour for set up, two hours for your event, and 30 minutes for clean up. The time you book online is your set-up time (i.e. if you book from 4-7:30, your event will be from 5-7pm).
Private events only available Friday & Saturday evenings.
Cost is $150.00. The $50 non-refundable deposit is due at registration.
Cost includes up to 20 people. If more than 20 people for an event, $25 will be charged per additional person. For kids’ birthday parties only, the 20 person count excludes adults and infants.
Cost includes use of all exhibits, tables & chairs, and a gift bag for each child at a birthday party. We have 3 large square tables, 5 triangular modular tables, 1 half arch buffet table, and 35 chairs available for use.
Neighborhood North does not provide food, drinks, decorations, or paper products.
A Neighborhood North event host will be on-site at all times to make sure you have a great experience.

Field Trips & Play Dates

The learning environment at the Museum of play is perfect for your classroom, mom’s group, daycare, afterschool program, or homeschool co-operative - make it yours! Program includes two hours of self-guided museum discovery and facilitated STEAM activities.

During a field trip, children can delve into hands-on exhibits about a variety of subjects, including STEM, art, music, engineering, and theater. We are pleased to offer free adult admission for accompanying adult supervisors and chaperones.

Field Trip Policies:

Reservations are required.
NN requires 1 adult supervisor for every 8 children. Adults are required to actively supervise all children in your field group during your Museum visit.
Admission Rate: $7.00 per child; free admission for adults.
